I like this holiday. It’s a day to focus on your kid, kind of like a “yes day.”
We had a slow morning and Mason spent some time at the playground, but then we hit a restaurant for lunch, some pasta, a hot dog, beer, and then raw beef bimbimbab, so an eclectic mix.
After lunch it was time for Kids Zania, which is basically like a theme park where kids can experience a variety of different jobs. Mason’s favorite was Hyundai Steel where he was designing cars and his least favorite was the pilot experience. I think the pictures tell the story. Then we hit Toys R Us (yes still operating here in Seoul) where Mason picked out a Mario Nintendo chip for his switch.
Bikes were our transportation for the day, HK on Mason’s, and Mason and me on the Giant. On the way home, after a shopping bag malfunction, HK decided to walk. Mason and I swerved through hordes of tourists as we headed back home, Seoul must be becoming an even more popular destination. A kid’s day to remember.
